Again SAF reveals that he is not intrested in signing anyone in the January Transfer window. He says that as far as he does not sell anyone he is quite happy with the squad, despite the injuries. This is a heart breaking news for all Man Utd fans.........who expected one or two signings in January that would lift the morale in the squad and ofcourse the quality in the squad and thereby our chances of ultimate glory.
But this is also giving me some joy because there is a chance that this might be a well thought out move from SAF expecting the following things to happen..........
1. Youngsters in the team like Paul Pogba and others might feel that they still got their chances for breaking into the first team and thereby signing contract extensions with the club.
2. Other clubs, which are behind the players whom we target to bring into the team, might have a feeling that they have got some time to go behind those players and thereby maybe......only maybe.....to loosen their pursuit on such players, which will give us a chance for landing such players if a surprise move is made in the January itself.
I really do hope that SAF did this for the aforesaid reasons because I personally feel that there is some quality lacking in our side especially in the midfield area.......in creative and attacking midfield.
I really hope we sign a player in January to solve this problem.
